President Goodluck Jonathan Urge Muslim Brothers and Sisters to pray for Nigeria during the holy month of Ramadam

Dr. Goodluck Jonathan
The Nigeria President,Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has send a congratulatory message to the muslim brothers and sisters as they commence the holy month of Ramadam which started yesterday,he urged them to pray for peace and love to reign among the people of Nigeria.

Read Mr President's message:
"As we mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, I urge the Muslim Ummah to use this time of fasting and piety to pray for peace and love to reign amongst all the people of Nigeria. The Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) taught that this period should be devoted to acts of kindness and for uplifting society through noble acts that spring from deep introspection on the teachings of the holy Quran. We must now and forever be our brother's and sister's keepers. By being our brother's and sister's keepers we can build a just society as envisaged by Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Once again, I salute the Muslim Ummah as we commence Ramadan and I also congratulate all Muslims on the sighting of the moon that marks the beginning of this most holy month. GEJ."
