I join the sons and daughters of Ijebu Land and numerous well-wishers to celebrate and congratulate with one of Nigeria's foremost traditional rulers, the Awujale of Ijebu Land  Kabiyesi Oba Alayeluwa.Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba II on the occasion of the 54th year anniversary of the ascension to the throne  of his fore-fathers as the Paramount Ruler of Ijebu Land

Governor Seriake Dickson Paid a courtesy Visit to the Paramount Ruler of Ijebu Land

Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State paid a courtesy visit to the paramount ruler of Ijebu Land,in Ogun State Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona on Saturday March 22,2014 saying he is related to the Fidipote Rulling House of Ijebu Ode.

The Governor and his entourage got to the palace of the Awujale at about 12:23 pm.

Dickson in his speech said that his great grandmother named Bola was a daughter of Oba Fidipote and said that they have come to identify with the royal line. Not only to make his great grandmother feel fulfilled wherever she is, but to also foster greater bond of royal affinity.
